Gladys was born in Alberta, Canada but moved with her parents to the United States when she was a year and a half where they lived in South Dakota.
Dean's father was in the military so Dean was born in 29 Palms, California. When his dad got out of the military he became a pastor and they lived in Indiana, Kansas, Iowa, South Dakota and Illinois. Dean went to school at Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC then transfered to Pillsbury Baptist Bible College where he met and married Gladys. Dean finished college in Texas and became assistant pastor in Oak Lawn, Illinois. He later pastored several small churches in Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois and Indiana. After 25 years of pastoring we left to work in children's homes in North & South Carolina. We are retired and make our home in Mauldin, SC. We have been married 43 years.
OUR FAMILY:
We have three daughters. Michelle, the oldest, has three children. Lydia 14, Leah, 12 & Eric, 10.
Our middle daughter is Kimberly has two sons Tyler 11, and Hunter, 5.
Our youngest daughter is Carolyn has two children, Alexis, 8 and Nicholas 5.
OUR BUSINESS:
We bought our website in April of 2006 to help suppliment our retirement.
We started to sell Pepper Spray because Dean saw how effective it was when he experienced it in training for work at Prairie Correctional. The income from our website has become helpful since Dean had his stroke March of 2007. I am able to work from home and still care for him.
Recently we decided to expand our site to include Home Security.
Our friends, the Willis, survived a home invasion on September 4th, 2007. This woke us up that this could happen to anyone. If you would like to read their story go to our website.

My husband became aware of Pepper Spray when he worked at
Prairie Correctional, a state penitentiary .
He found it was very effective.
It put us on the ground vomiting, choking, eyes tearing and burning. We had to be LED AWAY to a recovery area. I would, and I do, trust my life to the POWER OF PEPPER SPRAY. It will disable and render an attacker helpless. I GIVE MY WORD.
Although guns are an effective deterent.
We choose to use nonlethal Pepper Spray for our Protection.

The Black Hole of the Internet

One day I wrote a poem, for that is what I do.
I put it on a web site and away my poem flew.
I hoped someone would read it, that’s why the thing was sent.
But I haven’t any knowledge of where the poem went.
For a moment it was there, then “poof” it went away.

A FALLOW HEART
